Acceptance
Effective Date: July 27, 2026.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Doomlings Companion on iOS and Android and any official website or landing page for the app operated by Zachary Uptin.
By accessing or using Doomlings Companion, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Operator and Licensed Content
Doomlings Companion is operated by Zachary Uptin.
Doomlings is a separate company. Doomlings names, assets, artwork, and related content made available in Doomlings Companion are used under licence or other permission where applicable. Nothing in these Terms transfers Doomlings intellectual property to you or makes Doomlings responsible for the operation of Doomlings Companion.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Doomlings Companion, and if the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parental or guardian consent for chat, account-based, or user-generated content services, you must satisfy that requirement before using the service.
You are responsible for information and activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate.
Acceptable Use
You must not use Doomlings Companion to:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or defraud other users;
- upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content;
- interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the service;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorised access to systems or data; or
- use marketplace, chat, support, or reporting tools in bad faith.
User Content, Marketplace, and Support
You retain ownership of content you create or upload, but you grant Zachary Uptin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and process that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and moderate Doomlings Companion.
You are responsible for the content you submit, including listings, collections, messages, profile information, contact details, location or address information, reports, and images. We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or threaten user safety.
Marketplace features are provided as a communication and listing tool. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Zachary Uptin is not the seller or buyer in transactions between users.
Location and Permissions
Some features may request device permissions, including location permission for marketplace location autofill, nearby marketplace sorting, distance filtering, delivery, postage, or pickup coordination.
You do not have to grant device location permission to use Doomlings Companion. If you grant permission, you can later change or revoke that permission in your iOS or Android system settings. You may also enter location information manually where supported.
If you use marketplace sale, trade, delivery, or pickup features, you are responsible for keeping any location, address, and contact information you provide accurate and appropriate for the transaction. Public marketplace browsing may show your city or locality and country when required for listings, while fuller address details should only be provided where you are comfortable using them for transaction coordination.
Payments, Tips, and External Purchases
On iOS, optional in-app tips are processed through Apple's billing and payment systems, not directly by Zachary Uptin. Apple may determine billing terms, refunds, taxes, and payment handling for those tips under Apple's own terms and policies.
Store links inside Doomlings Companion may also take you to Doomlings' website or other third-party destinations. Purchases made on the Doomlings website are processed by Doomlings or its payment providers, not by Zachary Uptin. Zachary Uptin may receive a commission from eligible external purchases, and some links may include affiliate or referral information, but Zachary Uptin does not control the third-party checkout process.
Marketplace transactions between users are your responsibility. Unless an in-app payment flow is expressly provided, payments, shipping, taxes, refunds, pickup arrangements, delivery details, and disputes between users are handled directly between the relevant parties.
DoomAI, AI Answers, and Credits
DoomAI uses generative AI. Answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or outdated. They are assistance, not a guarantee or an official publisher ruling unless an answer identifies a cited publisher source. Check the current rulebook and exact card print, especially where printings differ. You remain responsible for gameplay and purchasing decisions.
DoomAI may select an AI model, use relevant app, card, and game context, and run validation or calculation tools. You must not submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, unrelated, automated, personal, confidential, or sensitive content; attempt to bypass limits or safeguards; reverse-engineer the service; or use it to consume resources fraudulently.
Successful DoomAI requests consume an available question or credit according to the allowance shown in the app. Failed requests are intended to return the relevant allowance or credit. Free allocations, public questions, rewards, and promotions may be limited, changed, paused, or withdrawn. Purchased DoomAI credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and do not expire while the service and your account remain available, except where a refund, chargeback, fraud, platform requirement, or law requires an adjustment. iOS purchases and refunds are handled through Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms.
DoomAI credit prices, pack sizes, usage limits, included models, and the number of credits charged for a request may change prospectively, including because OpenAI or other provider pricing and operating costs change. Any price change applies to future purchases and does not reduce credits already added to your account except for the adjustments described above. DoomAI may be remotely limited, placed offline, hidden, or discontinued.
Questions and related information are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and are also processed by OpenAI under its own terms and privacy policy.
Intellectual Property
Zachary Uptin owns or controls the Doomlings Companion app, including its original code, layout, compilation, and original service materials, except for third-party content and licensed Doomlings materials.
Doomlings and its licensors retain ownership of Doomlings-branded assets, artwork, names, and related content. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit any part of Doomlings Companion or its content except as allowed by law or with express written permission from the relevant rights holder.
Third-Party Services
Doomlings Companion relies on third-party services including Supabase, Apple, and Google. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Doomlings Companion may also use platform services such as maps, location permission prompts, notifications, sign-in, and billing where available on iOS or Android.
Doomlings Companion may link to external websites or services, including Doomlings' own website. Zachary Uptin is not responsible for third-party services, content, security, availability, or transactions that occur outside Doomlings Companion.
Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using Doomlings Companion at any time. You may also delete your account through available account deletion tools.
Zachary Uptin may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features if reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misconduct, or enforce these Terms.
Deleting an account is intended to remove user-generated content associated with that account, including chats and listings, subject to reasonable retention for backups, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Disclaimers
Doomlings Companion is provided on an as is and as available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zachary Uptin disclaims warranties, representations, and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zachary Uptin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or in connection with Doomlings Companion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Zachary Uptin arising out of or relating to Doomlings Companion or these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid directly to Zachary Uptin for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose; or (b) AUD 100.
This limitation applies even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, but it does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zachary Uptin from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of your misuse of Doomlings Companion, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or another person's rights.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
You agree that courts with jurisdiction in Queensland, Australia will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to Doomlings Companion or these Terms, subject to any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Changes to Terms
Zachary Uptin may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated version may be posted in the app or on an official app-related website.
Your continued use of Doomlings Companion after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
